During this workshop you will learn how to sew your own aprons, language card pouches, and drawstring bags for your Toddler or Primary classroom. No previous sewing experience required - you will learn all the basic sewing machine skills needed to complete these projects. You will have time to finish one project during the workshop and will leave with sewing patterns so you can make more at home.

The workshop will be led by Karla Norgaard, TMI's Material Making Instructor and the Owner of Handmade Montessori - HandmadeMontessori.com. If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it along. If not, you can share one of ours. Upon enrollment, you will receive a list of required materials to bring along for the project you choose.

This workshop is open to Assistants, Teachers, Administrators, and Parents with any level of sewing skills.
