Maria Montessori developed a complete philosophy of education based on the natural development of the child. This philosophy includes an emphasis on imparting virtues such as empathy, courage, resilience, integrity and generosity. In this talk, we will examine the ways these aspects of character formation are nurtured in a Montessori environment, including how parents can support this critical aspect of learning for life.
