Manzanita Montessori School is seeking a full-time Elementary Guide for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. This is an opportunity to join a community where children learn with joy, families partner with intention, and your work will meaningfully shape the next chapter of our Elementary program.
Our ideal candidate brings a genuine love of teaching and a thoughtful, child-centered approach. Montessori experience is welcome but not required; what matters most is a deep respect for children and the ability to guide with curiosity, compassion, and consistent structure. For the right person, we are able to sponsor AMI Montessori Elementary training.

Your Role
Guiding a prepared Elementary environment
Nurturing independence and curiosity
Maintaining detailed observations
Foster independence, problem-solving, and deep academic engagement
Partner with a supportive team committed to authentic practice
Help shape our program as our school expands
Qualifications
Passion for education and the developing minds of 6–12 year olds
Strong communication & collaboration skills
Commitment to continuous professional growth
At least three years leading their own elementary class
Enlightened generalist who inspires the children to explore all areas of the curriculum
Desired, not required: Outdoor education, farming, or sustainability experience.
