Supporting Healthy Sleep Habits


Healthy sleep habits don't just happen. They need to be cultivated and supported. Children (as well as adults) need sleep to be at their happiest and healthiest.  So, how do we support children to learn healthy sleep habits so the can achieve their optimum potential on a daily basis? How do we prepare the environment for peaceful, productive rest? How can parents and practitioners learn to follow productive sleep rhythms so that children are not sleep deprived? In this two-hour workshop we will explore the role that sleep plays in a child's life. Participants will leave the workshop equipped with concrete information and strategies about sleep guidance.


This workshop is suited to Parents, Teachers working with children 0-3, Assistant Teachers and Administrators.
