Chesterfield Montessori School; Chesterfield, MO; AMI Toddler Guide Opening

Chesterfield Montessori School has an opening for an AMI Toddler guide beginning in August, 2019. We have a vibrant A to I program, with two classrooms supporting children aged 15 months to 3 years. CMS is a thriving, authentic Montessori community with students from all over the world. We have been AMI-recognized since the school’s inception in 1981. Our Toddler, Primary, Elementary and Adolescent Programs serve families from 42 different countries and five continents. We have a five-acre main campus with a garden and lovely grounds, plus a seven-acre land campus. We offer an extraordinary working environment, with outstanding teachers, supportive staff and a beautiful facility located in the western suburbs of St. Louis County. Staff enjoy competitive salary and benefits, including annual trips to the AMI Refresher course and a substantial staff tuition discount.

In addition to AMI training, our ideal A to I guide will have: outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (excellent English required; other languages are a bonus), a growth mindset, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and parents. Candidates must be permanent U.S. residents or possess an H1B Visa.

St. Louis boasts a world-class symphony, a thriving and fantastically diverse local food and restaurant culture, the best zoo in the country, the spectacular Forest Park (with its annual Shakespeare in the Park and other festivals), distinctive neighborhoods, vibrant arts, interesting architecture and a grand baseball tradition (go Cardinals!). With the foothills of the Ozark mountains nearby, we also have a variety of challenging and beautiful hiking and biking trails.
