Description:Montessori School of Wild Pines (formally known as Montessori School of Washington Park) is seeking a lead primary guide for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Lead Montessori Guide, you will be responsible for implementing the Montessori philosophy, principles, and practices in our educational program. Your role will involve creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of each child in our care. This position has the potential to start as soon as possible or August 2024 at the latest.
Qualifications:-BA or BS required. AMS or AMI Montessori credential desired.
-Has prior experience working as a Montessori guide or in a similar early childhood education role.
-Possess a deep understanding and appreciation for the Montessori philosophy, principles, and methods.
-Demonstrate the ability to create a structured and organized classroom environment while nurturing individual growth.
-Exhibits a strong work ethic, can adapt to changing circumstances and works well with others
Description of Community:MSWP recently relocated to a new location. We are thrilled with our new space! MSWP offers children 18 months to 6 years of age an authentic Montessori learning environment. We thrive to offer beautiful prepared environments that foster independence, respect and support a love of learning.
