St. Vrain Community Montessori School is a fifteen-year-old PK-8 charter school offering a high-fidelity Montessori education in a public, charter school environment. Currently, we serve over 260 students in 9 classrooms. We are the only public Montessori school in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Qualifications
Candidate Educational Requirements
-BA or BS required.
-Colorado Teaching license with appropriate special education endorsements to support the position required.
-2+ Years of working with students in a school setting required. May require experience with working with students with various learning and physical disabilities.
Skills, Experience, and Qualities
-familiarity with Montessori method of education preferred
-a true desire for collaboration with peers
-a commitment to professionalism, as well as open, honest communication in the spirit of continuous improvement
-a commitment to Spiritual Preparation of the adult is essential. Significant classroom experience is required for Lead Guides.
